How Do I Use My 12 MB of Webspace? |
|
What is webspace?
Webspace is space on our servers. ETI customers are entitled to 12 MB of free webspace when they open an account with ETI.
What can I do with my webspace ?
Webspace is assigned to you when you sign up with us. It gives you the opportunity to host your own personal website and let others view it via the World Wide Web (WWW)
Where Do I Start?
To create the pages you will need a HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) editor. Packages that enable you to easily design web pages without knowledge of HTML include Microsoft Front Page, Macromedia Dreamweaver and Netscape's Composer (part of Communicator).
However, if you are familiar with the basics of HTML then a simple text editor such as Windows Notepad will suffice.
If you are interested in creating a website, then the Web Centre is the place to look for tutorials, links to free software and everything you need to start building a website.
Click here to go to the Web Centre.

How do I uninstall ETI from my computer? |
|
Uninstalling ETI from your computer involves removing the account from your Dial-Up Networking folder.
Doing this will not remove the browser software installed with the ETI CD.
If you do want to uninstall ETI from your computer, here are the steps you should take.
- Open My Computer from your desktop
- Open Dial-Up Networking. You should see an icon labelled something like ETI or ETI Connection. Click once on this icon.
- With the icon highlighted and the mouse pointer over it, press the right mouse button, and choose Delete from the pop-up menu.
If you want to reinstall ETI, simply repeat the install process with the ETI CD. Or you could follow the Dial-Up Networking guide in the Connection section of the Online Help.
