How much money do I need to bring for a month in Georgia?
You’ll need money to pay for accommodation – around $400 for 4 weeks.
Some other indications of the cost of living:
A meal in a reasonable restaurant near the school — is around 15GEL. Eating out in the evening can be anything from 15-30GEL or more. Cooking in your accommodation is obviously much cheaper.
The metro and bus system (if you need to use it) is very cheap — 50 tetri per journey on the bus and metro. Minibuses which are more frequent cost 80GEL per journey.
- Other expenses:
Allow around 50GEL a day on average, or around 1400 GEL ($560) for the month doing the course.
After the course how easy is it to explore the rest of Georgia?
