ETI’s digital learning package is an online learning platform that boasts several features that enable students to successfully learn English from a variety of locations. With the extensive range of materials accessible online as well as the ability to upload additional ETI resources, our teachers are able to generate personalised courses depending on a student’s learning needs.
The online courses are designed to be supported by tutorial support in the form of one to one or group lessons which can be conducted in person or over Skype. Students can be taught new content by their teacher, and then consolidate and reinforce the new material through the online course. This tutorial support combined with digital learning results in the optimum form of blended learning.
Below is a list of the main features of the digital learning package;
- With over 5,000 online activities at their disposal, students at any level are able to practise and be tested on the full range of language skills: reading, writing, listening, speaking, pronunciation and grammar. The activities vary from general English to Business English, as well as preparation exercises for IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC and Cambridge English.
- Content is updated on a regular basis, offering something new each time the student logs in. They can learn new vocabulary in appropriate contexts with topical news articles, which are published every week, have adjustable difficulty settings and come complete with their own activities to test the student’s understanding. Bite sized grammar tips are provided daily, and can be emailed directly to a student’s inbox.
- Teachers can communicate with students using an integrated, secure messaging service. This allows teachers to answer any questions from students, provide support, assign homework and extra-curricular activities, as well as send class announcements.
- Students can save materials and access them whenever they need to – they can bookmark individual activities, create personalised vocabulary lists and save web links.
